In 2022, my country’s entire society will consume 8,637.2 billion kwh of electricity, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.
By industry:
The electricity consumption of the primary industry was 114.6 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%;
The electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 5,700.1 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%;
The electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 1,485.9 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%;
The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 1,336.6 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%.
Installed capacity of power generation
As of the end of December 2022, the country’s cumulative installed power generation capacity will be about 2.56 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%.
The installed capacity of hydropower is about 414 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%;
The installed capacity of thermal power is about 1.332 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%;
The installed capacity of nuclear power is about 55.53 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%;
The installed capacity of wind power is about 365 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%;
The installed capacity of solar power generation was about 393 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 28.1%.
