Characteristics of railway signal cables

• The ambient temperature of the cable laying: the PVC sheathed cable should not be lower at 0°C; polyethylene sheathed cables should not be lower than -20°C;
• Allowable bending radius of cables: non-armored cables should not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable; armored cables should not be less than the outer diameter of the cable
• The ideal shielding factor of integrated sheathed railway signal cables is ≤0.8; the ideal shielding factor of aluminum sheathed railway signal cables is ≤0.3. The delivery length of cables of 500m and above shall not be less than 50% of the total delivery length; the delivery length of short cables of 50-250m shall not exceed 5% of the total delivery length; the measurement error of cable length shall not exceed ±0.5 %.
